It's impossible to stay indifferent: the best footages with pandas!

Giant pandas are incredibly sweet and funny animals! No wonder the Internet is overrun with videos demonstrating these fluffy, black-and-white buddies! We also want to jump on the bandwagon and have prepared a set of the most interesting panda footages!

Giant pandas are native to south central China and unfortunately, have been designated as a conservation reliant endangered species. There are only about 1,800 individuals living in the wild and about 300-400 living in captivity in China and other countries.

Despite its taxonomic classification as a carnivore, the giant panda feeds on plants, primarily on bamboo. The digestive system of the species is the same as a carnivore’s one, so it still cannot derive much energy and protein from plants. That is why pandas spend a lot of time eating. The average animal consumes as much as 9-14 kg of plants per day! They are able to digest cellulose thanks to special bacteria in their intestines. Interestingly, new-born cubs are sterile and acquire necessary microbes from their mother's feces.

By the way, according to Chinese law, killing of a panda will result in a jail and may even attract the death penalty!

And now after the short introduction, it’s time for a portion of sweet videos! Enjoy and remember to share your impressions below!
