The loneliest dog of Great Britain got a role in a Hollywood blockbuster! 6/30/2016 •

Freya, a Staffordshire bull terrier cross, was nicknamed the loneliest British dog: it was rejected nearly18 thousand times by potential owners while being in an animal pound!

Famous Hollywood filmmaker Michael Bay learned about the unfortunate dog via Facebook. Freya has her own page and a lot of friends, but no one ever expressed a wish to adopt the pet. By the way, the dog is suffering from epilepsy and perhaps, this is the reason.

The staff of the Freshfields Animal Rescue in Liverpool where the pet spent almost 6 years, keeps wondering why nobody wants to take this friendly and kind animal.

Michael Bay, who is really fond of dogs, decided to cast Freya in his new “Transformer 5” movie. The shooting will start already this summer, 2016. The director said that if Freya didn’t find her new home, he would be glad to adopt her himself.

We hope sincerely that this sudden turn in Freya’s life will help her to find loving masters and home!

What a shame!!! Six years is in waiting for a good, loving home is such a long time period in a dog's short life span. I am so glad he will take her if nobody else wants her!!
