This funny video of a Ball Python scrolling on a fleece throw will make you laugh! 7/3/2016 •

Surprisingly, a piece of common fleece fabric appeared to be an insuperable obstacle for an agile python!

Ball pythons are very popular pets nowadays as they are non-venomous, easy to keep and relatively small (1.2 – 1.5 meters). Usually, they are very nimble and can overcome almost any obstacle.

However, this snake faced an unexpected problem: it couldn’t move forward at all! In spite of all the attempts to scroll on a fleece throw, the python stayed where it was.

This interesting phenomenon is explained simply – the fabric is rather smooth and there is nothing the snake can push off.

Not true....they help control the rodent population! We in Miami have in our backyards the Everglades Racers which don't bother anyone and are rather beautiful to watch!

As long as it's outside where it belongs. I can't believe all these people who have pet boas and everything. Ewww! Have they never heard of owning a cat or dog. No inside snakes for me, thank you very much. Don't care if it's venomous or not

Seems like a mean trick to play on the poor snake! I have never had a pet snake. I live in the country and black snakes as well as king snakes are welcome in our yard. They help control rats and venomous snakes around here.
