Are you sick and tired of ordinary musical instruments but still feel like you need some beautiful music? Then, we are ready to amaze you again - with the help of magical sound of Hydraulophone!


Everybody likes music. Yet, the genre of music is a matter of taste. Besides, not everyone is able to play any musical instrument he or she likes.

A hydraulophone is a tonal acoustic musical instrument. But there is something unusual about it. Touch water - and you will get the tenderest and sweetest sound ever. Sometimes, though, the instrument is filled with other fluids but the sound is always generated hydraulically. Typically, you generate it with your own fingers!

These unusual musical instruments was developed more than 20 years ago. The creator, Steve Mann, says that he has always been paying attention to the sounds of flowing water as well as wondering whether it is possible to deliver any musical sound of it. Well, as you see, he finally managed to do it!

The instrument is often compared with a flute. Won't you be surprised to know that some versions of a hydraulophone have small flutes to make the water vibrate in a proper way?
