Diane Hall Keaton (born 1946) is an American actress recognized for her versatile acting style in comedies and dramas. She has received multiple accolades including an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in the 1977 film ‘Annie Hall’. Other accolades in her acting career include a British Academy Film Award, two Golden Globe Awards and the American Film Industry Life Achievement Award.

Her acting career started onstage appearing in the original 1968 Broadway production of the musical ‘Hair’. She rose to prominence with her first major film role as Kay Adams-Corleone in the Francis Ford Coppola’s series, ‘The Godfather (1972), a role reprised in its sequels, ‘The Godfather Part II’ (1974), and again in ‘The Godfather Part III’ (1990).

The film ‘Annie Hall’ was an American satirical romantic comedy-drama directed by Woody Allen (born 1935). Keaton plays the role of Annie Hall opposite Alvy Singer, played by Woody Allen.
