Charlie Ward Jr. (born October 12, 1970) is an American retired professional basketball player, college football Heisman Trophy winner, Davey O'Brien Award winner, and Major League Baseball draftee. He was able to win the College Football National Championship with the Florida State Seminoles in 1993.

Ward played both basketball and football at Florida State. The 1993 Heisman Trophy winner, who was projected as a mid-round pick in the 1994 NFL Draft, said he wouldn't play in the NFL unless he was a first-round selection. Ward was not drafted and he kept his promise, playing in the NBA after the New York Knicks drafted him in the first round.
