A little puppy from Arizona turned out to be a wolf

What should you do if your beloved puppy turns out to be a wolf? Here is the story of a wolf dog Neo from Arizona.

What can be more amazing than finding a free little puppy? One man from Arizona found a puppy, but soon his new dog started to behave very strangely.

Finally, Neo moved to Wolf Connection that is a wolf dog sanctuary in California. He enjoys playing with his new friends joining the "nightly howl" and getting the occasional belly rub.

That's a tough break. Wolf mix or not, I wouldn't be happy giving up my pup.

Looking at that puppy I immediately knew that he was wolf or coyote.

What a wonderful person to give up his precious pet for the betterment of his dog mix.

I hope he doesn't have to stay in that awful enclosure. A wolf rescue in NY state has acres of fenced woods for the wolves to roam.

My thoughts exactly......from a loving home to a cage is not good. I'm sure they have an outdoor area for them, hopefully it's acres and not just a large yard.

Sad, but the owner did the right thing. He took himself outta the equation and did what was best for the wolf. He was unhappy because he needed what his owner couldn't give him. Hats off to the owner!

If he didn't take Neo to the Humane Society, he probably wouldn't have had to give him up.

My friend in Indiana owned a half-husky/half-wolf mix. He bit almost everybody in the neighborhood who knew. He could sense their nervousness. He didn't bite me because I figured he was a husky. When I found out, I wanted to be around him even more! So cool... that is, until he got loose one day and killed two dogs that lived across the street from him. He actually wasn't social at all with other animals, but always seemed aggressive and kind of depressed. He had the most beautiful coat. I remember when he would shed his winter coat, I would sit there and pull huge chunks of loose fur out while he just sat there and leaned against my leg. I loved that dog (wolf). I wish he could've lived in a center like this... maybe then he would have been happier, found his place, ya know?
