Mother creates beautiful pictures from her little daughter’s drawings

A year ago, the Canadian artist Ruth Oosterman noticed that her toddler daughter was also fond of painting. Though her drawings resembled chaotic scrawls, the woman decided to collaborate with the girl and started to complete her paintings. The result is just amazing!

Now the process is as follows: the girl makes "sketches" with an ink pen (or paints) and then Ruth finishes the painting using watercolors. Sometimes she uses oil paints.

Do you like the pictures? Aren't they wonderful? Share your impressions in the comments!

I guess I'm the odd one out. I think the mother should realize the originals are beautiful and accept them with love - not "fix" them. Doesn't this say to the child they are not good enough?

SOME OF THE CHILD'S DRAWINGS WERE LOVELY WITHOUT BEING TOUCHED UP. IT WOULD BE NICE IF WHEN SHE GROWS UP NOT ALL HER WORK WAS UPGRADED BY MOM.
