Picasso's incredible self-portraits from age 15 to age 90

Picasso's incredible self-portraits from age 15 to age 90

It's hard to understand the incredible mind of a true artist. Pablo Picasso, one of the greatest painters of all time, gave us a wonderful chance to look deeper into his inner world: he had been constantly portraying himself throughout all his life cycle.

Picasso was baptized Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Martyr Patricio Clito Ruíz y Picasso. 23 words - that's quite a birth name! Looking at the evolution of Picasso's self portraits, one would say the artist had not only many names, but also a plethora of different faces...

Are you impressed? How do you feel about Picasso's art? Tell us in the comments below!

Extremely interesting, but what a change from youth to aged! Like he had so many facets to himself, he just fragmented. I have no artistic education, just an old widows observations.

Certainly the most prolific and creative artist ever. The self portraits show all the many styles of his long life. Loved it.

His art is original and so creative. It looks like he drops LSD before he begins.

Your presentation is laudable, well done. I have never been fond of Picasso's work, he appears, to me, to be mad as a hatter.
