8 eight ounces glasses of water is 64 ounces, which is 1.89 Liters. So if you can't get the math right why should I believe any of your other assumptions.

You assume the glasses hold a volume of 1 cup. Perhaps the 8 made u draw that conclusion? Either way, most glasses are larger than 8 oz, and nowhere does it say 8 8 oz glasses.

I never drank water until I started having heart attacks from dehydration. Now I drink 4-16 oz water bottles EVERYDAY. I gave up coffee and tea also. I start at 9:30am and finish at 9:30pm and sleep all night through. Miss coffee. Don't miss the heart attacks. Thery're rough and don't get any easier even after 5 attacks.

I think the recommendation is actually about half your bodyweight in ounces, depending on your local climate.

I am glad I don't HAVE TO push myself to drink a lot of water. I drink a lot of water for the medicine reasons anyway. I guess I will not add too much more.
