Startling 3D paper athletes by the artist Raya Sader Bujana

Raya Sader Bujana, a paper artists from Barcelona, Spain, crafted a series of amazing paper figures of Olympic athletes. Each athlete consists of about 150 paper elements joined in a special way to make them 3-dimensional.

Together with photographer Leo García Mendez the talented woman took professional photos which fully reflect the delicacy and originality of her creations.

Just have a look at the pictures: could you even imagine that such astonishingly beautiful things can be made from simple white paper?
