The last trip: this man travels around the country with his dog diagnosed with cancer

Get ready for another touching story of a lifelong friendship between a man and his beloved pet...

Robert Kugler's dog was diagnosed with bone cancer in the spring of 2015. As the result, a beautiful Labrador named Bella lost her leg and was given no more than six months to live. Robert never gave up on his best friend and decided to make the most out of the rest of her life. More than a year later, Bella and Robert are still travelling and enjoying each other's company. They visit the most beautiful places in the USA, meet new friends and take stunning pictures. The power of friendship is amazing, isn't it? Just look at how happy these guys are!

We lost our Miniature Schnauzer to bone cancer last year. Even the cat misses him.

Lucky dog to get to go all those places. My whippet that had cancer lasted way beyond what vet said gong out to the barn everyday and running along the horse. I think he had the will to live. When the horse died of old age high 30's the dog passed within 2 mos.

The last photo is my favorite. Absolutely stunning photography, and the love shared between these two is awesome and obvious. I too have animals in my life, they are my family.

I just love this story. I have had many dogs throughout my life and hold each close in my heart. Three have died in my arms. A dog's life is too short. These lovable creatures bring so much warmth and give us the opportunity to love something in return, to invest time and energry into another living being which keeps us connected in the circle of life. Robert and Bella are my heros.

I have always loved dogs, I now have boxer #8. I lost my husband in 2013 and last November I knew it was time to find another 4 footed companion. All of our boxers were rescues except for one that was part of a litter our mama dog had. Maggie, my new companion, was severly abused and has neurological damage on her right side and I had a lot of work to do to gain her trust. It was worth every minute of the time, I am learning more and more things that she was trained to do somewhere along the way. I
