This immensely powerful video shows we have much more in common with other nationalities than we’d even think

Millions of people have already watched this impressive video created recently by Momondo. If all people in the world watched it, perhaps there would be no wars at all.

Do you know what nationality you belong to? Do you think you are pure British or French or American or whatever? Well, chances are high that you are mistaken.

Momondo, a Copenhagen-based travel metasearch engine, released a promotional video called “The DNA Journey”. In this video volunteers of various nationalities were asked if they would like to know where their ancestors had come from. Most of the people didn’t expect to discover something unusual. However, after the volunteers’ DNA was analyzed, many people were shocked and even moved to tears!

I was astounded at my DNA too! Thought I was more Taino, African and Iberian mix, only to find out that though I had a percentage of each but was 50% Polish (my Father) At least I know what's in my bloodlines but In my heart and personality I'm more of my mothers mulatto mix. Sata and proud of it. The best of all worlds.

My DNA means little. I am an American and have pride in my country and its great achievements. What most people fail to understand is the meaning of American Exceptionalism. It does not mean we have exceptional pride, nor an exceptional economy, nor exceptional people. It means we are the exception to the nations of the world in that we have power over the government and not vice versa - though Democrats believe that government should have power over the people, and that is why there is so much strife in America today. One good thing I can see coming from this is that it further puts the lie to white supremacists claim to "the purity of the white race." That is a myth. For anyone who wants to put me down for that statement, I am a Southern white male with slave owners in his ancestry. I have not had my DNA tested, but would be very interested to see the results.

If you go far enough back all people originated in Africa and we are all related. This says nothing because people of the world now are based on culture not lineage. This will not have a profound change on most people in the world.

Why this Qizzclub makes to see some stupid, meaningless ad. It is staged with bad actors who play unnaturally and say unbelievably stupid things? There is nothing new in it, but it is leftist and politically correct.

Wow! I notice you get all your information from only one site. You, my friend, have drunk the Kool-Aid! What you present here is extreme right-wing propaganda, completely devoid of substantiation. You have a twisted view of what Democrats believe and you have no idea of what American Exceptionalism is or what role it played, to the detriment of others in the world. The term can also be used in a negative sense by critics of American policies to refer to a willful nationalistic ignorance of faults committed by the American government. The arrogance of the concept of Manifest Destiny comes quickly to mind. Our history has been glossed over, polished and the nasty bits have been swept under the rug. You need to learn that, like all people, we have our faults and are capable of errors and our history is full of examples of those things. Drop the puffed up idea of American Exceptionalism. It makes us too prideful and arrogant. America has been accused of behaving as a "nation above nations" imposing its hegemony on the rest of the world, acting in its own interest, with no concern for others. The U.S. is far from unique in claiming to be special.

All my life I have taken pride in being the product of the American Melting pot and that my family have been mixing it up on this continent for the past 386 years, sigh. I even, according to family history had a negligible amount of Native American, about eleven generations ago. Imagine my dismay when I found out that my ancestors were not very good cooks and that I was 95% English more english then most of the natives of Great Britten. And if there is any Native American in the family, I didn't inherit it. Truth is worth knowing but I'd be lying if I said it didn't bother me and effect my self image. I kind of wish I'd never done it.

William Laughlin Oh come on Willie, your just as bad.The arrogance of the scientific theory is as arrogant as the religious dogma. Anyone who believes at this stage of the game that they have the answers about creation are just like the cave men who made up stories to explain what they couldn't understand. Just get real and accept that we don't know the answers and let people believe what makes them comfortable and stop trying to make yourself feel superior by putting them down.
