# This simple children’s riddle has caused a hot argument on the Internet!

When Lisa Woelke from Canada posted this riddle she didn’t expect there would be so much controversy over it!

The reason for the hype is that the answers given by people turned out to be different the most common among them being 12, 14 and 16. Thousands of Internet users have already shared the riddle asking friends to give an answer they think to be correct.

The puzzle consists of several equations. The task is to define the unknown quantities (bananas, apples and coconuts) on the basis of sums and differences and then finally to calculate the sum of these quantities.

And what do YOU think about this riddle? Which is the correct answer to the problem in your opinion? Tell us in the comments!

P.S. Pay particular attention to the last equation for it differs a bit from the other three.

I also got 16
