TURKISH IMAM LETS STRAY CATS GET INSIDE THE MOSQUE AND KEEPS THEM WARM

It's such a joy that there are so many good people on earth! In Istanbul, for example, there's an unusual mosque. Its imam Mustafa Efe has been letting stray cats in since 2014. He keeps his new fluffy friends warm during the cold winter just to be sure that they are safe.

The cats feel so safe and comfortable here, one cat even brought her kittens and placed her cute kids in the pulpit from where their friend preaches.

Efe may proudly say that these stray cats have found the heart of comparison and mercy. We need more people like you, Mr. Efe!

The video above was posted by Mustafa Efe himself. We can practically feel his love for all living creatures...

What do you think about such a great deed? Would you like to visit this mosque and get acquainted with the cats? Please, tell us in the comments below!

Warms my heart .. finally someone showing mercy and compassion for these beautiful creatures. I travel frequently through the world and have seen many stray cats and dogs. All they want is some food and maybe some affection instead of being seen as vermin and constantly shooed away by heartless people. I take a suitcase full of cat food and feed as many cats as I can however they really are at the mercy of the locals.I have found Moroccans and Egyptians and of course the Turkish community to be most merciful to the animals and sadly most Saudis don't show anything but hatred for them . Unfortunately the streets are littered with cats reproducing regularly . I pray one day there will be a government led sterilisation programme esp in Saudi to control the numbers in a humane way rather than poisoning Allah's creatures causing a slow painful death .

Easy to explain -- Mohammed loved cats and hated dogs.

I almost cried. I have 4 cats. Little Kitty is an outdoor cat, but comes in in the winter and when she has been hurt. Occasionally she lets me pet her. I trapped her and had her spayed. It took awhile till she trusted me again. I actually boarded her to get medicine for an infection. My cats become very subdued at the vet's. Lord knows I wasn't going to try to get a pill down here: )) The Imam is a very good soul.

How is that easy to explain?just be coz ph Muhammed s.a.w. loved cats it didn't mean he 'hated' dogs and he definitely advised against any kind of cruelty to animals even dogs.I don't personally like all dogs coz I'm a little bit scared of them and haven't grown up around them but I have fed them to the point they followed me to my hotel in Turkey! I also would stop to rescue a dog that was injured. Some Muslims hate cats even tho the prophet liked them so they don't all follow the example of the prophet .They just don't have enough compassion for creatures unlike this imam who has that and I'm pretty sure even though he won't allow dogs in the mosque he will not harm them and will probably tell his fellow worshippers to be kind and merciful to them as this earth also belongs to them. Mercy comes from an individual's heart be they muslim or not.

Excuse me but I have 4 cats who belong inside my home with me! They clean up after themselves and the house does not smell of wee just my Yankee candles☺.Every creature deserves shelter from the elements when the weather's bad.I think there's more stinky humans living in filth( Not all humans of course).. now that's just nasty!
