Why is good posture so important – a detailed and clear explanation!

You’ve possibly heard hundreds of times that right posture is immensely important for one’s health condition, but do you actually know why? This great video will provide you with a detailed answer!

Posture is the way you position your body while standing or sitting. It mainly depends on our spinal column. Human spine is a wonderful and unique organ that makes it possible for us to walk upright. But unfortunately, it is exposed to various daily stresses. For example, we may carry on weight or sit uncomfortably at a computer all day long. Besides, there is another stress nobody can avoid – every second of our life we experience…gravity! Yes, it also has an impact on our posture.

If your posture isn’t optimal it may negatively influence your muscles and even some inner organs. However, modern way of life doesn’t contribute to the proper posture: we spend a lot of time sitting in public transport, in a car, or at a computer. Moreover, we are bound to different gadgets that make us look downward.

But what shall we do improve the situation? Watch the video for more useful information and advice!

My mom always told me to stand as if I had a string holding the top of my head up. I've told my daughter the same thing. Then your whole body will be in sync. Including your organs.
