You won't believe your eyes: these sculptures are made of...ceramic!

We really think that this guy is a sort of illusionist.


His name is Christopher David White and he is one of the most talented modern sculptors. His creations are truly amazing. Take a closer look at them. Do you really think they are made of wood?

This American artist makes all of his ceramic sculptures by hand. It's hard to imagine how much time it takes to create at least one of these sculptures. They all look incredibly beautiful, even though some of them might be described as surrealistic. White is inspired by the idea that "everything is subject to a cycle of growth and decay, or life and death."

We have to admit that his inspiration is contagious. What do you think?

MASTERFUL, to do such a difficult task with real Deadwood for this effect would be painstakingly impossible but to create such a natural effect using a substance as ornery and contrary as ceramic is pure genius.
