Vince Savage, It doesn't - the question was which one doesn't mean maculate, begrimed, tarnished and spotted all do so the answer is broken.

9/10. 7 easy...3 hard. Precocious equals advanced. As the narrative explained “a precocious child is one who is advanced”. None of the other choices would be appropriate or communicate the intended thought.
