There are at least two of the options which are wrong

Louis Michael Durocher,, it's 45. First person shakes hands with other people =9 (can't shake hands with yourself). Next person shakes hands with 8 people (can't shake hands with self & the has already shook hands with 1st person so can't count it again). Next person shakes hands with 8 & so on. 9+8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1=45
