Beautiful and unique sculptures of fantastic animals!

Culture Story: Beautiful and unique sculptures of fantastic animals!

These wonderful hand-made figurines are a combination of different styles such as fantasy, grotesque and surrealism which makes each sculpture one-of-a-kind.

Ellen Jewett, an artist from Canada, uses polymer clay and acrylic paint to create these magical works. They all seem alive as if they leaped off the pages of some fantasy novel or a fairytale.

Ellen tried her hand at sculpting at a young age already, and recently her works have attained real success. Now her sculptures are being featured in public and private collections.

Disturbing is an understatement! I wouldn't want one in my house, or anywhere near me. These are the makings of nightmares.

These pieces are stunning. Wish I lived in a castle so I could install a few. Fantasy at its best--ghoulish, horrifying, and beautiful.

Something's not quite right. Why does the sculptor like hair raising art?
