Mesmerizing video of a bizarre musical instrument playing with the help of 2000 steel marbles!

At first sight, this instrument invented by the musician Martin Molin from Sweden resembles a huge street-organ, but in fact, it is a unique marble machine that comprises several instruments – a vibraphone, bass, kick drum, cymbal and some others.

Martin, also known as MacGyver, decided to construct his Wintergatan Marble Machine in 2014. Though he planned to spend a couple of months on its creation, the process proved to be rather complicated and took about 14 months mostly because parts of the machine had to be made by hand.

During the whole period of this hard yet exciting work the musician shared all the stages of the process on his Youtube Channel. The ludicrous device was finally presented to public on the 29th of February, 2016.

The machine uses 2000 steel marbles and is operated with a special handwheel. The talented inventor is planning to make another smaller and mobile version of the marble machine in near future so that his music band could take it on tour.
