Got a friend who makes almost twice as much driving uber on weekends as he does at his regular day job

I drove for UBER. Losing proposition. By the time you pay for car maintenance and rack up 40,000 miles on your car in 6 months I might add, your car is worth nothing and you will need a nother one which costs more money. Yhen there is insurance and gas and food for nourishment because you are out there trying to make ends meet many hours. Don't drive for uber. You will be on the losing end.

joesmoothfoster, That's too bad for him. I sure hope he's single. According to 2018 federal guidelines, his income puts him right at the poverty line for a family of four. He makes only $12.50 an hour which is barely more than minimum wage in most conservative states. To meet the national average, he should be making almost twice that much.
