He began his show-business career in 1956 when he starred in the children's TV show "Circus Boy" (1956 - 1958).He worked under the name Mickey Braddock and played Corky, an orphaned water boy for the elephants. The show featured a one-ring circus existing at the start of the 20th century.

Micky Dolenz was born in March 1945 in Los Angeles, CA; his given name was George Michael Dolenz Jr. During his professional career, he worked as an actor, musician, television director, radio personality, and theater director. He is best known for being a vocalist and drummer of the 1960s pop/rock band The Monkees.
