In the 1964 - 1968 TV series, Del Floria's Tailor Shop is the main location of the secret entrance to the headquarters of the TV spy show, "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." The U.N.C.L.E. headquarters was in New York City and was the most frequently used entrance by the agents. Another entrance was available for use through The Masque Club. Alexander Waverly (Leo G. Carroll), an Englishman and head of the organization had his own secret entrance.

Because of reviews, it is known that "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." was conceived specifically as a TV version of the movies featuring James Bond. It, however, became an entity in its own right when development fell to the enormously creative mind of Sam Rolfe. He is the key person who devised the complicated, multi-faceted, and smart organization that was the United Network Command for Law Enforcement (U.N.C.L.E.).

The TV series U.N.C.L.E. was the end results of what was the most dynamic, complex, fast-paced, action-packed, sexy, and exhilarating adventure show of the 20th century. It was a show that used cutting edge technology (the hand-held camera), faddish dressed personnel, and youth-orientated thinking and actions that allowed it to precede far beyond other shows moving at a snail's pace in comparison.
