Earth is completely round.
Earth is not exactly round; it is slightly pear-shaped. The North Pole radius is 1.73 inch (44mm) longer than the South Pole radius.
Plates carrying the continents migrate over the earth’s surface a few inches per year, about the same speed that a fingernail grows. Which also is about the speed at which the moon is moving away from earth; the moon is moving away at 1-and-a-half inches (3,8cm) per year. The reason probably being that earth is rotating ever slower – 1.4 milliseconds per century slower, some sources calculate 3 milliseconds per century – meaning less gravitational pull on the moon.
Earth is also moving away from the sun at 5.9 inches (15cm) per year.

The given answer and most comments seem to miss the point. If I understand correctly, "oblate spheroid" means that the radius about the axis of rotation, i.e. radius from the centre to to the equator, exceeds the radius measured along the axis of rotation (between the poles) by about 21 km. Thus the Earth is a slightly flattened sphere. Centrifugal force plays a role in this, since the Earth is not as solid as it seems when we stand on it. The difference in radii to the poles is negligible compared with this flattening. Speed of rotation does not affect gravitational force. And to suggest that moving away from the sun at 15cm/annum, out of a total of about 150 million km, is causing or contributing to temperature change, well, really . . .

Sftcw if we turn off all the fossil fuels go to hydrogen from sea water and molten salt reactors which are melt down proof and only produce1% of the waste which can’t be used for nuclear weapons and also has a half life of 500 to 1000 years instead of 50’000 years we would have the problem solved!
