Henry VIII of England had several children. The best-known are the three that succeeded him as monarchs of England successively, Edward VI, Mary I and Elizabeth I.

Edward VI (12 Oct 1537 – 6 July 1553) was King of England and Ireland from 28 January 1547 until his death. He was crowned on 20 February at the age of nine. The son of Henry VIII and Jane Seymour, Edward was the third monarch of the Tudor dynasty and England's first monarch raised as a Protestant.

Mary I (18 Feb 1516 – 17 Nov 1558) was the Queen of England and Ireland from July 1553 until her death. Her executions of Protestants led to the posthumous sobriquet "Bloody Mary". She was the only child of Henry VIII and his first wife Catherine of Aragon to survive to adulthood.

Elizabeth I (7 Sept 1533 – 24 March 1603) was Queen of England and Ireland from 17 November 1558 until her death. Elizabeth was the fifth and last monarch of the Tudor dynasty. Elizabeth was the daughter of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn.
