pamela h, The home port was Marblehead. So that should have been the correct answer. How does one sail from Gloucester, if your home port is Marblehead. I was a sailor in the Navy for 5 years. Our home port was Charleston South Carolina. When either of my ships sailed, we sailed from our home port of Charleston. We didn't home port out of Charleston but sail from Norfolk Virginia. We home-ported in Charleston. We sailed from Charleston. Ergo, the answer should be Marblehead, or their home port should have been officially changed to Gloucester.
