In the history of the United States, there are only two instances where a father and son achieved the presidency. Can you name the families?

Of all the Presidents of the United States there has only been two families to have both father and son become President. John Adams and his son John Quincy Adams as well as George H. W. Bush and his son George W. Bush became President of the United States. A very rare occasion that is most likely never to happen again. Although no one can forsee the future this event could still happen .

Many people believed the Kennedy's would continue this but due to tragic deaths, interest seems to have waned for America's closest to a royal family. People thought John F Kennedy, Jr. would run but he passed away from a freak plane crash.

Johnny Rock, For many years I also thought that Quincy was a nephew of John Adams. There must have been some reason for us to think that.

I often wonder how much of an 'accident' it was that took Jr. (and wife) down! there is a widely held belief that he was dumber than the proverbial 'box of rocks' there may have been an element of society that didn't want him to survive to serve! just sayin'!
