On 24 Feb 2015 the England women's cricket team marked Charlotte Edwards's 200th game as captain with a five-wicket win over New Zealand that sealed the Twenty20 series 2-1.

Charlotte Marie Edwards CBE (born 17 December 1979) is a former English professional cricketer who was captain of the England women's team. Edwards announced her retirement from international cricket in May 2016. Edwards made her England debut in 1996 at the age of 16 and took over as captain in 2005. She became the first England player, man or woman, to be captain in 200 internationals.

Edwards is the first female cricketer to score 2,000 runs in T20 Internationals. Edwards is the first player, either male or female, to score 2,500 runs in T20 internationals.

She led England on 220 occasions as captain. England won three Ashes series (2008, 2013 and 2014) and World Cup/World Twenty20 double in 2009 under the captaincy of Edwards.

Scoring 10,273 runs in international cricket. Edwards is the only Women to score more than 10,000 runs in international cricket. Next best is Mithali Raj with 7,452 runs.

She scored 6,728 runs in international cricket as captain. She is the only Women to score more than 5,000 runs in international cricket as captain.
