Set in over 500 acres of beautiful gardens, maze and grotto features, yew trees and idyllic country settings, the castle noted here in the picture is Leeds Castle in Kent, England. It is rising majestically from a moat which it has done for over the last 900 years.

Leeds Castle has been a Norman stronghold, the private property of six of England’s medieval Queens and a palace used by King Henry VIII. In the 1930's the castle was a playground for the rich and famous, as Lady Baillie, the last private owner, entertained high society coming down from London for some weekend fun and enjoyment.

Today the interior offers visitors a glimpse of its rich past with a fine collection of art, beautiful porcelain, exceptionally made furniture, etc. The outside landscaping and well designed and cultivated regions surrounding the castle with shrubbery, gardens, walkways, and more create an excellent environment and playground for individuals and families to totally appreciate and savor during a small moment in time.
