'The Brady Bunch' is an American sitcom created by Sherwood Schwartz that aired from September 26, 1969, to March 8, 1974, on ABC.

The show revolved around The Bradys; a blended family anchored by parents Mike and Carol Brady and their six children; three boys and three girls.

Alice Nelson (Ann B. Davis) was the Brady's housekeeper and friend. Alice was known for her sky blue housekeeping uniform, which she almost always wore. She had an ongoing relationship with Sam the butcher. She lived in the Brady home. Alice grew up in the same neighborhood as the Bradys, graduating from Westdale High School, the school Greg and Marcia (the oldest children) attended in the series. She was the middle sister, Emily was the oldest and Myrtle was her younger sister. Alice was generally impartial toward the children, although she presented Jan with a locket at one point, 'from one middle sister to another.'
