On the 1984 - 1990 U.S. TV series "Miami Vice", Sonny Crockett (Don Johnson) lived on a yacht (an Endeavor sailboat) in the Miami marina. His living arrangements on the yacht helped him to keep up a very active life as an undercover detective and drug dealing middleman (Sonny Burnett).

The lack of a fixed address specifically helped him to stay "off the local radar" and made him harder to find. His home with his watch-gator Elvis was formally known as the yacht, St. Vitus Dance.
