Thrill seekers like to ride on Utah's largest Alpine Coaster. The elevated track winds through more than a mile of loops, curves and hair-pin curves at speeds up to 30 miles per hour. It is a true favorite roller coaster ride of kids and adults; and, with the refreshing mountain scenery of Park City, it makes each ride something hard to ignore as fun.
The Alpine Coaster is a roller coaster built by Wiegand GmbH of Germany. There are currently just 5 of these specific designed coasters operating in the United States.
They have been built on mountains or large hills and utilize the terrain as they zig-zag their way from the top of the mountain down to the bottom.
