The statue of Walt Disney holding Mickey Mouse's hand is known by what name?

The 'Partners' statue was created by Blaine Gibson, an artist with the Walt Disney Company and was first installed into Disneyland, Anaheim in 1993. It has since been reproduced for other Disney parks and Walt Disney Company property.

When asked what Walt is pointing at in the statue, Blaine Gibson replied, "The expression I tried to capture was Walt saying to Mickey, 'Look what we've accomplished together'".

A statue of Walt's brother Roy O. Disney, sat with Minnie Mouse called 'Sharing the Magic' was also created by Blaine and installed into Town Square, Magic Kingdom, at the Orlando resort. This is a recognition of Roy's contribution to keeping dreams alive. In a selfless effort to continue Walt's project after his death in 1966, Roy opened the resort as 'Walt Disney World' in October 1971. Roy Disney passed away in December 1971, just two months after its opening.

Anyone remember watching the "Wonderful World of Disney" on TV? It was on Sunday evenings, probably on at 7pm (Pacific Standard Time). I watched it every Sunday.

Walt Disney is a genius in creating magic. As the saying goes, we never out grown our childhood days, we are still a child no matter what age are we today. I know because I still act like a child, foolish and mischievous.

How long before the professionally offended demand it be removed over Walt having Werner Von Braun on Disneyland in the 50's?

Maury Christian, i think I remember the earlier fersion in the ‘60’s, before Walt Disney died, when he himself opened each episode with a short, maybe 3-minute introduction.
