There are no above-ground rivers in Jerusalem.

I thought the river Jordan ran through it. Generally ancient cities were not built unless there was a water supply.

I visited some islands on the Adriatic where the anxcient Roman "castros" had no other source of water then thebrain, and rainwater was collected in huge pools built under the construction. Really amazing.

Didn't think the river Jordan did go through Jerusalem so went onto google maps and I looked on the map and can not find any river in Jerusalem, however there is a spring on the outter scurts of the city and it is Not the River Jordan.
