Keith Richards a British rock star and founding member of the Rolling Stones band, played a part in two of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

Richards born December of 1943, has been playing music with the Rolling Stones since the 1960s. Richards is considered a Rock and Roll icon for his guitar playing and song writing.

Johnny Depp, who plays the lead in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies said that Richards was an inspiration for his Captain Jack Sparrow character. Richards was chosen to play Jack Sparrow's father in both "At World's End", and "On Stranger Tides" movies. Richards character in both movies was as Captain Teague, a founder of the Pirates League.
