What country did the rice dish "paella" come from?
Paella originated close to Lake Albufera in a lagoon in Valencia in the mid 19th Century. It is a Valencian rice dish that came from the east coast of Spain and is viewed by Spaniards as the national dish. The different types of paella include mixed paella, Valencian paella and seafood paella.
