Which is the name of the fastest supercomputer in the world?
China’s Tianhe-2 really the fastest supercomputer in the world. Can you imagine that more than 1,000 scientists and engineers took part in the development of the great machine? Actually, the project was thought to be complete only by 2015 but the team managed to finish it in 2013. It is an interesting fact that the predecessor (Tianhe-1) also topped the list in 2010.

I chose Tianhe-2 because of the # 2. This tells me that it's an improved model, 2nd generation...(call it luck)
