What is the oldest still-inhabited city in North America?

The oldest still-inhabited city in the North America is Cholula, Puebla in Mexico. Initially, pre-Columbian Cholula grew from a small village to a regional center during the 7th century. Now, the city of Cholula is located just west of the state capital of Puebla and is part of its metropolitan area. The city is divided into two municipalities, called San Pedro Cholula and San Andrés Cholula, which also include a number of smaller communities that surround the city proper. The main plaza of the city is located in the municipality of San Pedro Cholula, but its Great Pyramid, located only a few blocks away, is found in San Andrés Cholula. Of the two sub-divisions, San Andrés is more residential and has the higher indigenous population. The city of Cholula as a whole is officially called the Distrito Cholula de Rivadavia. It was created in 1895 and named in honor of Bernardino de Rivadavia.

In Canada and the USA we consider Mexico to be in Central America The city of St Augustine in Florida was founded in 1565 and to this day has been continuously inhabited since then There is a sign that says this right along Interstate 95 ( I 95) Bonnie

When I was taught about the Americas Canada and The United States were North America, Mexico to Panama including all islands in the Atlantic were Central America and Columbia to Argentina were considered South America. So I had always know St. Petersburg Florida as the oldest still inhabited City in North America.
