None of these movies were in wide distribution, in fact all of them only opened in one theater. The reported box office opening gross for Zyzzyx Road was $30.00 for the one theater in Dallas, Texas. Two of the tickets for opening week were sold to the movie's makeup artist and a friend and later refunded, making the actual total only $20.00.

The movie stars Katherine Heigl and Tom Sizemore. Released in late February 2006, actor and co-producer Leo Grillo rented the Highland Park Village theater in Dallas for $1,000 because, as long as he gave his low-budget film a brief theatrical run, he could pay his actors less. Without any premiere hoopla or advertising of any kind, Zyzzyx Road showed at the Highland Park Village once a day, at noon, for seven days. It’s no wonder that only six people saw it.

The movie has been shown in other countries with meager results and was released to the home view market (DVD or Streaming).
