What planet is famous for its big red spot on it?
The Great Red Spot on Jupiter was first discovered by Giovanni Domenico Cassini, with a telescope in 1665. It is an anticyclonic storm, similar to a hurricane, which has been raging on the planet for a long time.

The Weather Readers on Jupiter probably still tell motorists to avoid "the Big Red Hurricane" and plan alternate routes to work. Or stay home altogether until it blows over.
