What TV family lived at 1313 Mockingbird Lane?

The Munsters, headed by Herman (Fred Gwynne), a lovable Frankenstein's monster, with his father-in-law vampire (Al Lewis), his doting wife, Lily (Yvonne DeCarlo), their son, Eddie, a wolf-boy (Butch Patrick), and their "abnormal" niece, Marilyn (Pat Priest), who just couldn't seem to find a nice boy. And we mustn't forget their dog, Spot, a dragon who lived under the stairs.

The house was on 1313 Mockingbird Lane in Mockingbird Heights, later revealed to be one of Los Angeles' suburbs. All around this dwelling, life was normal. Here, well, let's just say it had its own weather.

Sadly, the show only lasted for 72 episodes, canceled after the premier of the TV series, Batman.

This was a wonderful comedy with clever characters, all of which took the terror out of monster films. I used to watch it with my young kids
