In what state is Arches National Park located?

Arches National Park is located in the U.S. National Park in eastern part of the state of Utah. The park is adjacent to the Colorado River, 4 miles (6 km) north of Moab, Utah. It is home to over 2,000 natural sandstone arches, including the world famous Delicate Arch, in addition to a variety of unique geological resources and formations.

This park is a landscape of contrasting colors with land forms and textures unlike any other in the world. In addition to hundreds of soaring pinnacles, it has massive wing-shaped fins of sandstone and giant balanced rocks. It has been said that this red rock wonderland (Arches National Park) likes to amaze visitors with its formations, refresh them with its trails, and inspire them with its sunsets.

I took a road trip from New York to Nevada a few years ago and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I saw the Grand Canyon and the Utah Arches. It was amazing and beautiful. It was a very memorable adventure as we drove across 10 states. Coming from NY though, I realized that I do not like the desert, but it was an amazing experience.

Each year I spend Thanksgiving at Zion National Park , near Arches. It is a truly breathtaking part of America.

The South-west desert is a phenomenal and graphic place of beauty. I personally like taking pictures primarily during the solar transitions. The early or late light shows more detail than at other times. Great color combinations too!
