Roger Moore was the fourth actor to portray the role of James Bond in Film. He first appeared as Bond in Live and Let Die (1973). His other Bond roles include: The Man with the Golden Gun (1974), The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), Moonraker (1979), For Your Eyes Only (1981), Octopussy (1983), and A View to a Kill (1985).

My first Bond film although it wasn`t until I saw it again back home in Canada that I saw the whole film. We were in South Africa when it first released and was heavily edited due to apartheid restrictions.

You have one James Bond missing. Casino Royale was produced for American TV in 1954, starring Barry Nelson and Linda Christian. Bond was turned into a CIA agent (Jimmy Bond, for crying out loud!) and Ian Fleming's selling this novel to the American network prevented Broccoli and Saltzman to produce the first 007 novel until several years later, including the ridiculous version with David Niven and Woody Allen. Finally, Daniel Craig was the first actor to play Bond in a Casino Royale more or less close to the original book.

Sean Connery was my favorite James Bond, followed by Pierce Brosnan followed by Rodger Moore. I wish I had seen Pierce Brosnan in moremovies than I did. He had that arrogant funny manner about him.

Richard Paton, Casino Royale was the first book, but Dr. No, with SC, was the first theatrical release. There was a previous TV version with another actor who is mostly forgotten now (at least by em). Interestingly, Fleming's first choice for the role (the model he had in mind when writing the books) was David Niven, who ended up in the spoof version.
