What was the name of the first band Eric Clapton played in?

Eric played in many successful bands as well as enjoying an accomplished solo career.

Some of the bands he played with – other than John Mayall and the Blues Breakers, The Roosters, The Yardbirds and Cream - are Casey Bones and the Engineers, The Powerhouse, Delaney Bonnie, and Friends, Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominoes, and the Plastic Ono Band. He has also played an a number of collaborative albums with JJ Cale, Roger Taylor (Queen), Roger Waters (Pink Floyd), BB King – to name a few.

Eric is the only triple inductee in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I like Clapton and have copies of music from all three bands that are common knowledge but I never heard of the roosters.
