In the film, "The Usual Suspects" there is an eclectic bunch of characters: Keaton (Gabriel Byrne); he appears to have gone legit. McManus (Stephen Baldwin) and Hockney (Kevin Pollak); they form an instant rivalry. Verbal (Kevin Spacey) has cerebral palsy and walks with a limp, and Fenster (Benicio Del Toro) talks in mangled English causing others to have trouble understanding him. Nonetheless, each man has undoubtedly committed a crime at some point in his life and is guilty of something. But now in the current situation, they're probably innocent of what they're actually being accused of (hijacking a truck full of gun parts).

This film, "The Usual Suspects" is a 1995 crime thriller written by Christopher McQuarrie and directed by Bryan Singer. The movie begins with a man being killed on a boat. Then it starts again with Agent Dave Kujan (Chazz Palminteri) interrogating Roger "Verbal" Kint on the status of criminal Dean Keaton, who is involved in the boat fire. Finally for a third time the movie starts, it begins when five crooks are brought together in a police line-up on trumped-up charges.

Next the film finally centers on the interrogation by Agent Kujan of small-time criminal Verbal Kint. Keyser Soze, Verbal informs Kujan is a mysterious crime figure of mythic proportions whom no one ever sees, but who controls everything world wide in the criminal world. Kujan is told that he should find and convict Soze for all his big and significant crimes.
