The Cleveland Indians have only won the World Series two times in franchise history. The first time in 1920 and again in the first Nationally televised World Series in 1948. The Indians won the series against the Boston Braves in six games.

The team has played in played in three World Series since then in 1954, 1995 and most recently in 1997.

The Indians have been to the Postseason in 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, and 1999 with failed results.

2001, 2007, 2013 and as of October 14, 2016, they are in the ALCS against the Toronto BlueJays.
