Where is the deepest dam in the world?

Parker Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam that crosses the Colorado River 155 miles (249 km) downstream of Hoover Dam. Built between 1934 and 1938 by the Bureau of Reclamation, it is 320 feet (98 m) high, 235 feet (72 m) of which are below the riverbed, making it "the deepest dam in the world". The dam's primary functions are to create a reservoir, and to generate hydroelectric power. The reservoir behind the dam is called Lake Havasu and can store 647,000 acre·ft (798,000,000 m3) or over 210 billion US gallons. The dam straddles the border between California and Arizona.

Why do you ask 'Where is the deepest dam in the world' and then only give places in America as your choices. Regardless what most America thinks, AMERICA IS NOT THE WORLD. Next time just ask which is the deepest dam in America. But As of 2003 A Dam built in China was the deepest and largest Dam, it's height is 594ft, it's length is 7,661ft, the Dam volume is 35.6 million cu yd. That sounds to me to be a lot deeper and bigger and you can be easily look it up

Wendy Petty, The dam has a total height of 320 feet, of which 235 feet are below ground and 86 feet are above ground level (the part we see). I'm sure the actual water level varies constantly.
