Where is the oldest individual tree in the world located?

Old Tjikko is a 9,550-year-old Norway Spruce, located on Fulufjället Mountain of Dalarna province in Sweden. Old Tjikko originally gained notoriety as the "world's oldest tree" but is instead the oldest living clonal Norway Spruce - as there are older clonal trees, while no individual tree reaches Old Tjikko's age. I don't understand why this was excluded...

Trees like the Redwoods may fall over and die except from their "bones" new trees will appear with the identical DNA. And thus they are immortal. Have not read about the Swedish Pine but appears to being like the Redwood. The Bristlecone Pine mentioned is not able to grow from its roots or fallen body and is thus the oldest living organism that does not clone it self from the dead tree.

The answer is a 16-foot tall Norway Spruce, situated in the scrubby Fulufjället Mountains of Sweden, is an incredible 9,550 years old! This is the world's oldest single-stemmed clonal tree. The actual tree trunk itself is only a few hundred years old – it is the root system that has stayed alive for nearly 10,000 years.

These trees may look dead, but they are actually still alive. I used to hike the trails in the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest where some of these trees are found along the eastern part of California.
