John Bosley (often nicknamed "Boz") is a fictional character in the 1976-1981 television series Charlie's Angels. He was portrayed by David Doyle. He appeared in all of the 110 episodes of the series from 1976 to 1981.

The character of John Bosley also appeared in the 2000 Charlie's Angels film played by Bill Murray. Murray's take on the Bosley character was more buffoon-like, giving rambling speeches of little or no help to the Angels.

In the sequel, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, comedian Bernie Mac plays John Bosley's adoptive brother Jimmy Bosley.

Ramón Rodríguez portrayed John Bosley for the television reboot of Charlie's Angels in 2011. The series was cancelled after four episodes had aired.

Bernard Jeffrey "Bernie" McCullough (October 5, 1957 – August 9, 2008) better known by his stage name Bernie Mac, was an American comedian, actor and voice artist. Mac gained popularity as a stand-up comedian. He joined fellow comedians Steve Harvey, Cedric the Entertainer, and D. L. Hughley in The Original Kings of Comedy. One of his most noted film role's was as Frank Catton in the remake Ocean's Eleven. In the sequel Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle Mac played a new character, John's adoptive brother Jimmy Bosley. Probably his biggest success was The Bernie Mac Show which debuted in 2001 earning him two Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
